As the plant emerges (like a Solomon's seal) in spring, the vivid yellow flowers at the end of the stalk are already visible. As the upright stalk reaches its ultimate height within days, the tips turn outward and the yellow flowers burst forth in a spectacular display...a great upright 2' wide clumper for the woodland garden.
