I'm in love with this vigorous Japanese fairy wing hybrid (E. davidii x E. grandiflorum 'Yubae'), which makes a tight 1' tall x 18" wide deciduous clump. The clumps are topped in spring with 18" tall flower spikes of large flowers, each composed of a white spur and backed by neon pink sepals...a real eye catcher for the woodland garden.
