This PDN release was the result of our breeding programs efforts to hybridize small but fast-multiplying, vigorous hostas. H. 'Hush Puppie' is a H. venusta hybrid that forms a 16" clump of small, green leaves edged with a wide creamy yellow border. The attractive clumps are topped in June with 8" tall scapes of dark lavender flowers. Because it grows so quickly, it can quickly be divided and spread around the garden or shared with friends.
