This charming little rock garden perennial makes a short cushion to 5" in height, composed of short upright stems and rounded .5" wide hairy leaves. Scutellaria indica v. parviflora spreads slowly, making a 1' wide clump in 3 years. The easy-to-grow clumps, which tolerate shade or sun, moist or dry soils, are topped in early spring and again in fall with an amazing display of blue-lavender mini-snapdragon-like flowers on 1" long spikes...very cute and very tiny.
