NEW!
Agave 'Mateo' is a new unique century plant that was discovered as a seedling in a block of Agave bracteosa at San Marcos Growers of California. We are uncertain about the other parent, but speculate that Agave lophantha may be involved. The non-spiny 18" tall x 3' wide rosette of rough green leaves is highlighted by a central chartreuse-yellow stripe down the middle of each leaf. We haven't overwintered this in the ground yet, but if our guess of parentage is correct, then 0 degrees F should not be a problem. That being said, we aren't making any hardiness promises until next year. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
