Wim named this clematis after another famed Dutch clematis expert, Jan Fopma. Clematis 'Jan Fopma' combines the best traits of Clematis integrifolia and Clematis fusca to produce a 5' long scrambler that is adorned from July to September with small, red-lavender, flared, bell-shaped flowers, each with a lighter edge.
