This Korean counterpart of our native Jeffersonia starts its life in early spring when it produces numerous stalks of upfacing blue-lavender cupped flowers. Just as the flowering ceases, the foliage emerges from the tight clump, resembling a nicely lobed Sanguinaria canadensis (bloodroot). Jeffersonia dubia prefers well-drained, but slightly moist soils and a pH near neutral. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
