Epimedium x versicolor 'Strawberry Blush' (Strawberry Blush Fairy Wings)

Part Sun to Light ShadeZone: 5-8 12" tall Origin: Hybrid

NEW! This 2004 Darrell Probst introduction is another excellent selection of the wonderful Epimedium x versicolor group. The slowly-expanding patch can reach 2-3' wide in 5 years. The copper-maroon new foliage develops a central green pattern before eventually turning all green. From late March through late April, the plants are topped with short spikes of simply stunning flowers...large pale pink sepals, bright red spurs, and a contrasting yellow cup. These are so beautiful, they could be grown just for the deer-resistant foliage...the flowers are a real bonus! Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
