This wild tetraploid daylily comes from the Stamile's breeding program in Florida. Hemerocallis 'Freewheelin' has been quite the attention-getter in our garden with a long blooming period during which the 34" tall, 6-way branched flower scape produces up to 50 large spider-like flowers. Each flower starts with a large central eye zone of chartreuse, outlined with a wide band of red and then ending with bright yellow petal tips. This is truly a stunning evergreen daylily.
