Nursery/Greenhouse Grower

- Duties include all aspects of scouting, growing, and maintaining a wide variety of containerized perennial crops.
- A 4 year horticulture degree and at least 2 years experience in nursery/greenhouse growing is required.
- Strong aptitude for greenhouse plant production, good communication, task prioritization and supervisory skills are a must.
- Applicant should be self motivated with problem solving skills, ability to pay acute attention to detail and maintain accurate records.
- We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced, fun atmosphere.

Are you interested in gaining hands on experience, learning about
what is new and exciting in the plant kingdom and having fun?
If so, this may be just the opportunity you have been waiting for!
What are the qualifications?
- Have an interest in plants (Easy one! Who could hate a plant!?)
- Are in good physical shape.
- Have a good sense of humor.
- Can work Monday thru Friday an average of 25-40 hours per week
during the months of March through May and again in August through October.
- Work an occasional Saturday or Sunday during Open House events.
