Hosta 'Red Neck Heaven' is our 1994 introduction, a seedling from Hosta kikutii var. caput-avis. The top of the foliage is medium green, while a thick white wax coats the back of the leaves. In spring, the petioles of Hosta 'Red Neck Heaven' are a wonderful, brilliant reddish-violet. The unique stalks of white flowers emerge sideways, making a ring of white around the 3' wide clump in late summer...great in sun!
