Zantedeschia 'Edge of Night' PP 14,926 (Edge of Night Calla Lily)
Sun to Part SunZone: 7b-9, at least 24" tall Origin: Hybrid
(aka: Z. 'Black Star') This fabulous new zantedeschia was discovered as a mutation on Z. 'Schwarzwalder' by Frank Patterson in West Linn, Oregon. The green leaves are highlighted by small, white spots and a unique, black-purple leaf edge. In July, the clumps are topped with dark, black-purple flowers...simply amazing and a great addition to the black garden. As with all hybrid zantedeschia, they do not emerge until mid-May, so be patient.
