(syn: Boykinia watanabei) Small, bold, and bodacious, this fabulous member of the saxifrage family boasts 1' wide, deeply-cut, green saucer-like leaves held atop 18" stems. In summer, the stunning clumps are topped with 30" rodgersia-like racemes of tiny greenish-yellow flowers. Peltoboykinia prefers rich, moist woodland soils but has been surprisingly easy to grow and drought-tolerant in our hot climate.
