Open House/Web-Only! Carex 'Rekohu Sunrise' comes to us from Terry & Lindsey Hatch of Joy Plants in New Zealand, where it was discovered as a nursery sport on their native Carex trifida. Rekohu is the indigenous Maori name for nearby Chatham Islands. Carex 'Rekohu Sunrise' makes an open, evergreen, deer-resistant clump to 2' wide x 18" tall, composed of wide, arching green leaves, edged in yellow. In our garden, it has survived 7 degrees F so far. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
