We saw this charming little species on our expedition to north Vietnam in 2005. The short stems rarely exceed 1' tall, topped with very glossy green leaves. The unusual flowers resemble a pink hood housing a winding set of stairs leading to a tall white snow cone. The flowers are followed by 1' tall spikes with small clusters of blue berries. If you were a child of the '60s, you undoubtedly have vague memories of many things like this. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
