This Eddie Welsh Eucomis comosa hybrid forms a green-leaved rosette, topped in August with 2' tall dark purple spikes of purple buds, opening to light pink. Eucomis 'Katie' is one of the best selections for fall re-flowering, while the old stalks are adorned with dark purple seed pods.
