This sport of Hosta 'Summer Breeze' (which was a sport of Hosta 'Summer Music') was discovered by Illinois's Mark Zilis. Hosta 'Summer Lovin' makes a dazzling 22" tall x 50" wide clump of corrugated dark green leaves (darker than its parent) surrounded by a wide golden border. For us, Hosta 'Summer Lovin' has shown exceptional garden vigor in our trials. To the delight of hummingbirds in early summer, the clumps are topped with 30" tall scapes of light lavender flowers...stunning!
