We originally got Agave 'Cream Spike' from Randy Baldwin of San Marcos Growers under the invalid name of Agave parryi 'Minima Variegata'. Not only was the cultivar name invalid, but it was later determined to be a clone of Agave applanata. This stunning specimen makes a compact 10" tall x 1' wide clump of blue leaves, each surrounded by a wide creamy border. Even where it's not winter hardy, Agave 'Cream Spike' makes a stunning container specimen. We are not aware of any specimens that have flowered.
