Agave difformis is a relative of the easy-to-grow Agave lophantha and Agave lechuguilla that hails from elevations of 5,000-6,000' in Hidalgo and San Luis Potosi in north central Mexico. Agave difformis makes a 18" tall x 2' wide freely suckering clump composed of wavy, medusa-like upright green leaves, often highlighted by a wide central silver stripe...we really like this. Our plants are seed grown, so each is different in the amount of silver striping. Agave flowers attract hummingbirds.
