We originally received Habranthus 'Pink Flamingos' from Carl Schoenfeld of Yucca Do as a Habranthus hybrid. After trials in NC, we agree with Carl that it is an exceptionally floriferous hybrid of Habranthus robustus, so together we coined the name Habranthus 'Pink Flamingos', which well-describes a clump in flower. As with most rain lilies, this fast-multiplying clump has a flowering window that starts for us in mid-June and continues into September after each rain shower. Once the clump becomes well-established, it will bowl you over with its floral show of pink flowers in mid-summer.
