Variegation Alert! This unusual selection of the Japanese native Epimedium diphyllum makes a short 8" clump, composed of lung-shaped, grey-green leaves, heavily speckled with white. The deer-resistant clump resembles a bad case of auto body shop overspray, topped in early spring with clusters of tiny white bells. The pattern is most vivid before the heat of summer. A variegated epimedium...who'd have thought?
