This 2006 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction is a 1993 Hosta yingeri hybrid that forms a stunning 18" tall x 4' wide vigorous clump of very shiny green leaves, surrounded by a wide, golden-yellow border. In mid-June, the clumps are topped with scapes of attractive purple, spider-like flowers...enjoyed by hummingbirds. Hosta 'Swamp Thing' has really stood the test of time like fine wine, improving with age.
