Agave x pseudoferox 'Green Goblet' is a Yucca Do selection (T43-29), discovered in Northern Mexico near the Sierra Chiquita Mountains. All of the Agave x pseudoferox (x protamericana x gentryi) in this population were blue except this clone, which displayed dark green leaves with a blue dusting at the leaf base. Forming a massive 5' tall x 9' wide clump at maturity, Agave 'Green Goblet' has performed extremely well in our climate to the single digits...good winter drainage is important. Our 11-year-old specimen flowered in 2011 with a stunning 25' tall flower stalk of hummingbird-favorite yellow flowers.
