(aka: Thalictrum thalictroides) Without a doubt, this selection of the easy-to-grow Anemonella thalictroides is among the most incredibly beautiful North American native plants we grow. This Oscar Schoaf introduction was discovered in the wild in Southern Minnesota. The dainty thalictrum-like foliage makes a small 6" tall x 6" wide deer-resistant clump. Starting in early April (NC) and continuing for at least two months, Anemonella 'Schoaf's Double Pink' clumps are topped with 1" wide stunning pink pompoms, then are dormant by midsummer. Anemonella 'Schoaf's Double Pink' is a slow-to-propagate selection highly prized by keen gardeners around the world.
