We picked up Kniphofia 'Nancy's Red' on a UK trip in the early 1990s, and it has since performed wonderfully in our climate. The tight clumps of narrow, grass-like foliage give rise to 2' tall, narrow spikes of coral-red flowers starting, for us, in July. Kniphofia 'Nancy's Red' is a charming plant and hummingbird attractor scaled for even the smallest of gardens.
