Hosta 'Pineapple Upside Down Cake' is a unique Green Hill Farm introduction...a sport of Eric Smith's bizarre hybrid of Hosta sieboldiana x Hosta lancifolia. The long wavy leaves emerge pure green, then the center quickly brightens to a brilliant white-gold while the edge develops a narrow, black-green border. Hosta 'Pineapple Upside Down Cake' is truly a unique hosta that will stop you in your tracks. In late summer, the 4' wide clumps are topped with hummingbird-friendly lavender flowers on 28" tall scapes.
