Trachycarpus wagnerianus (Wagner's Windmill Palm)

Sun to Part SunZone: 7-9 240" tall Origin: unknown

This hard-to-find palm is one of the true mysteries of the palm world, as it has never been recorded from the wild. In cultivation, palmophiles recognize it as one of the hardiest of the trachycarpus group. In stature, it makes a 20' tall trunk exactly like T. fortunei except the stiff round leaves are stunningly beautiful and much shorter (18" diameter compared to 33" diameter for T. fortunei). Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
