This naturally occurring hybrid between S. alata and S. purpurea is only found in small areas of Alabama and Mississippi. We are pleased to offer these seed-raised man-made hybrids. In appearance, they are very similar to S. x catesbiae (flava x purpurea), with upright S. purpurea-like pitchers of yellow and red with brighter red netting. Since they are seedlings, each will vary in the amount of red base color that the pitchers show. S x exornata makes an attractive clump when established....bright sun and slightly moist soils are best...no chemical fertilizers. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
