Sedum 'Garnet Brocade' PP 16,350 (Garnet Brocade Sedum)
SunZone: 4-8a, at least 24" tall Origin: Hybrid

Open House/Web-Only! (aka: S. 'Garbro') From Germany's Innovaplant, S. 'Garnet Brocade' originated as a cross of Sedum telephium 'Munstead Dark Red' x S. spectabile 'Carmen'. Sedum 'Garnet Brocade' is certainly one of the more unusual and intriguing sedums that we have trialed. The 2' tall violet-purple stems are adorned with long grey foliage with a dramatic purple mid-vein. In September, the clumps are topped with large, purple-stalked, airy panicles of pink buds that open carmine-pink...very attractive in an alien sort of way...as much for the foliage as for the flowers. Sedum 'Garnet Brocade' is a real favorite of mine as well as of garden visitors. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
