Open House/Web-Only! This quirky voodoo lily is a plant that popped up in our seedbed in 2004 with a most unusual characteristic...it produces multiple stems from one tuber. We first selected the plant 3 years ago and the characteristic has returned each season. In theory, this shouldn't be possible, but then, we never let our plants read scientific journals. Each bulb will produce up to eight heavily speckled 30" tall stems and when the bulb matures, it also produces more than one of the lovely pink vase-shaped flowers per bulb...very strange.
