(syn: H. 95-36) This unusual hosta was derived from a 1994 cross of H. rupifraga x H. plantaginea. The 3' wide clump is composed of upright leaves that arch outwards like a giant wave. The leaves also have a unique wavy edge we haven't seen in any other hostas. In August and September, the clumps are adorned with 30" spikes of large, splendid, purple-and-white striped buds, opening to large, slightly fragrant flowers. We have chosen not to tissue culture this hosta, so all plants are divisions from the original clump. Pot size: 3 qt. (2.83 L)
