Light Shade to ShadeZone: 4-8 15" tall Origin: USA
This fairly rare East Coast native, from NC to Alabama, is similar to the northern grown T. cernuum. In mid- to late-April, the nodding white flowers have contrasting purple floral parts. Although in the wild it occurs in moist, rich forests, it has grown well in our garden, and has multiplied nicely compared to many of the more commonly grown trilliums. This offering represents nursery-propagated divisions from our original rhizome, planted in 1994. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
