Open House/Web-Only! This lobelia stopped me in my tracks in Suzanne Edney's garden in 1995. This hybrid (L. cardinalis x siphilitica x fulgens) tetraploid seed strain from Germany's Benary Seed Company has large, velvety, wine-red (RHS 61A) flowers with a satiny finish that are absolutely scrumptious on 3' tall stalks.
